Massage

Braea Wilke, LMT & Co-Manager

Hi!

I’m Braea, LMT, and a proud graduate of Medical Careers Institute in Newport News, VA. I began my massage therapy journey in 2008, right after high school, drawn to a career centered around helping and caring for others.

I am currently certified in:

  • Deep Tissue Massage

  • Pre-Natal Massage

  • Geriatric Massage

  • Oncology Massage

  • Cupping, Hot Stones, Gua Sha, and Acupressure

I will soon be certified in:

  • Ashiatsu

  • Stretch Therapy

This diverse training allows me to tailor each session to the person in front of me—whether you’re seeking relaxation, relief from everyday tension, therapeutic work, or care that supports your unique needs.

I believe massage is about more than sore muscles. It’s an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with your body, ease stress, and support your overall well-being. My goal is for every client to feel comfortable, cared for, and heard, with a session thoughtfully designed around what their body needs that day.

I also have a special passion for Corporate Chair Massage and love bringing the benefits of massage into the workplace, giving employees an opportunity to pause, reset, and release everyday tension.

Whether in the studio or the workplace, my goal is simple: to help you feel better in your body and a little lighter when you leave than when you arrived.

Beth Saunders, LMT

I approach every massage as a puzzle to be solved.

As we explore your life, each piece will fall into place. Curiously, that last piece is always elusive, and I love the ever-evolving dialogue of your body. It’s like a painting, where you can always find something you’d do a bit differently or an area to be improved upon.

As a lover of art, I enjoy learning, creating, growing, and exploring. I approach therapeutic massage with that mindset and thoroughly enjoy the artistry of the human body.

My top areas of expertise are neck and shoulders, followed closely by hips.

My special skills: Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular, Deep Tissue, Hot Stones, Reflexology, Prenatal, Medical Massage

Your body needs me if you are:

  • Recovering from surgery, broken bones, or other medical events and injuries

  • Whiplash, migraines, oncological care, chronic issues like scoliosis

  • An athlete - sportsman, runner, lifter - athletic build with a highly active life

  • In a stressful career - teachers, nurses, military, first responders, etc.

  • Seeking deep tissue and deep pressure

I aim for you to live pain-free. I bring my best to you, each and every time, seeking to improve how your body feels—providing the routine work and maintenance that will establish your baseline for a healthy, strong, restored body.

Your body tells the story of your life. I simply have to listen to what it’s saying.

Amy Short, LMT

I truly enjoy my work!

I received my Massage Therapy license in November of 2001 after graduating from Virginia Academy of Massage in Newport News. Since then, I have completed several continuing education courses in medical massage, including:

  • Whitney Lowe's Orthopedic Massage Clinics,

  • Lymph Drainage Massage,

  • Neuromuscular,

  • Therapy for Spine and Thorax,

  • Pregnancy Massage,

  • Myofascial Release for Upper Body.

In my practice, with my clients, I use many of these techniques to complete a therapeutic massage session. Over the years, I have learned that each person's differing needs can be met by using a combination and variety of these massage techniques.

I love my work because it is a calm one-on-one environment and I gain great satisfaction knowing that I have the opportunity to make someone feel better both mentally and physically in such a hectic world.

Lisa Shenefield, LMT

Hi, I’m Lisa, a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2007. I graduated from Florida Metropolitan University in Lakeland, Florida.

After a major career shift, I pursued massage therapy as a means to end each day knowing I've improved someone's life.  It’s always felt so rewarding to hear returning clients share how I've helped them stay pain-free through their week.

I truly believe in the power of massage to alleviate chronic pain, enhance mobility & flexibility, and promote overall well-being & mental clarity.  We'll collaborate to customize your session to suit your unique needs - whether for targeted pain relief or total relaxation.  I enjoy crafting a warm, calming space where you can wind down and settle into deep relaxation mode for maximum healing.

I can’t wait to meet you!

Donna Coleman, LMT

In 2013, a fter attending MCI in Newport News and passing the national exam, I became a licensed massage therapist. I further studied sports massage under a professional boxer turned massage therapist, focusing on referred pain while simultaneously delving into Eastern and Western forms of energy work.

As a result of this study, I have become very intuitive and knowledgeable at finding the source of your pain using moderate to deep pressure techniques. Most muscle pain does not have to be chronic.

Let’s resolve your range of motion and recurring pain issues together. In our transformative and relaxing spa you may just find yourself falling asleep!

Acupuncture/Tui Na/NADA

Paula Hubbard, L. Ac., LMT

Acupuncture has been the foundation of my approach to healing, rooted in the belief that the body, mind, and environment are deeply interconnected. My path toward this work was shaped early on by growing up in rural Appalachia, where I learned the value of hard work, living close to the land, and honoring the natural rhythms of life.

Later, while living and traveling in Asia, I was introduced to a more balanced, holistic view of health, which deepened my appreciation for traditional healing practices. After returning to the United States, I pursued advanced education in Integrative Medicine and Acupuncture, where my passion for helping others truly flourished. Through my studies and clinical experience, I discovered how meaningful it is to support people through all stages of healing.

I am now a Certified Provider of Hospice and Palliative Care Acupuncture (CPHPCA) through the National Association of Hospice and Palliative Care Acupuncturists, an exciting and deeply meaningful chapter in my work. This training allows me to offer even more compassionate, whole-being care to patients and families navigating serious illness.

Today, my goal is to help individuals from all walks of life find balance, relief, and renewed well-being—meeting each person where they are and supporting them along their unique life path.

Holistic Esthetics

Heather Owens, Master Esthetician
Caring for Your Skin. Honoring Your Whole Being.

With more than 35 years in the esthetics industry, I bring a wealth of knowledge, training, and hands-on experience to every facial I provide. As a Holistic Paramedical Master Esthetician, Acne Specialist, Oncology Esthetician, and Integrative Nutrition Coach, I’m passionate about helping you understand and care for your skin in a way that supports both your skin health and your overall well-being.

I believe your skin deserves more than a one-size-fits-all approach. You are unique, and your skin is, too. I take the time to listen, understand your concerns and goals, and create each treatment around what you need—not simply what your skin looks like on the surface.

My approach is gentle, intentional, and whole-being focused. I combine effective skincare with the healing power of touch and wholistic modalities, using my hands as my most important tools. Through massage, gentle microcurrent, gua sha, facial globes, and warming or cooling stones, I create treatments designed to relax, tone, sculpt, restore, and rejuvenate—while giving your mind and body a chance to slow down and receive.

Whether you’re navigating acne, embracing the changes that come with aging, caring for sensitive or compromised skin, or simply longing for time to nourish and refresh yourself, you’ll receive thoughtful, personalized care every step of the way.

My greatest joy is helping you feel comfortable and confident in your own skin—and reminding you that caring for yourself is not a luxury, but a meaningful part of wellness.

I look forward to welcoming you, caring for you, and creating a facial experience that leaves you feeling refreshed, restored, and beautifully connected to yourself.
