Heart Felt Touch

What to Know Before Your Treatment

Preliminary Information

  • Before your treatment, you will fill out a simple intake form and your service provider will ask a few questions about your health, wellness goals, and desired results.

  • Your service provider will consider your health history, lifestyle, stress levels, medications, and any areas of pain or concern.

  • This information helps us tailor your session to your individual needs and goals.

Privacy & Draping

  • You’ll undress only to your level of comfort. Your therapist will leave the room while you prepare.

  • You’ll remain appropriately draped with a sheet or towel throughout the treatment, with only the area being treated uncovered.

  • Please remove jewelry or clothing that may interfere with your treatment.

  • Chair massage is an exception: You remain fully clothed, and no oil or lotion is used. Sessions typically last 10–30 minutes.

Your Environment

  • Soft music is typically played during your session. Let your service provider know if you prefer quiet or conversation.

  • Your service provider will check in about pressure and comfort. Please speak up anytime something doesn’t feel right.

  • Our treatment tables are comfortably padded and may include supportive cushions or a face cradle for your comfort.

For Massage

  • Oil or lotion may be used to reduce friction. Please let your service provider know about any allergies or sensitivities.

  • For hot stone massage, your therapist will check that the stone temperature is comfortable for you.

  • Your massage may focus on the full body or specific areas based on your needs and treatment goals.

  • Breathe normally and allow yourself to relax.

  • Table massage sessions typically range from 30–90 minutes.

  • After your massage, you’ll have privacy to get dressed and will typically be offered water.

  • Gratuities are appreciated for exceptional service but are never required.
